PL2014 - Weeks 23, 24 and 25

Here are a few more project life pages. This is all I have right now. So I'm caught up, but I'm behind. We're currently in week 32... So I have a little bit of work to do.

We managed to get away for a few weeks, to the sunny Shuswap, where the temperatures were in the high 30's... Too hot for this girl. But we spent lots of time in the boat and in the lake, keeping cool. We also welcomed a new addition to the family...

Meet Libby.

She is a miniature Schnauzer, and she joined our family the day after we arrived home from vacation. And to say that we like her is an understatement.

We are all head over heels for her... She is the sweetest little dog ever. Her only fault, in the nearly 2 1/2 weeks we've had her home, is her morning wake up time. That has been a little hard. She wakes up anytime between 5 and 6 AM, and is ready for the day to start. Much to my horror... A morning person, I am not. But we're bravely soldiering through. Hoping that as the days grow shorter [not that I'm anxious at ALL for that to happen] but perhaps that will trick her to sleeping a little later... Once school starts back, the early mornings won't be quite so shocking. But right now, on our summer holidays, they are.

Onto my project life layouts:

Week 23:

This week was my yoga retreat, on the west coast. I've said it before, but it's so awesome to go and hang up the 'mum' hat for a few days, and just be. Such a great group of ladies, and we had awesome weather and a great time.

 Week 24:
Week 24 we were gearing up for the end of school. A lunch date, Stanley Cup Playoffs, rocking climbing, and visit to the breeder to visit a 5 week old Libby. The scouts helped with a community clean up. Father's Day. We watched the last Star Wars... Finally. Nearly a year in the making, but I can now say I've seen them ALL.

Week 25:

My bi-annual haircut. Chalk play, dreaming of warm days. Hanging on the couch. An impromptu date night. Independence beginning to strike in a nearly 12 year old. And a girl in her glory at the park.

The following Sahlin Studio Products were used:

Week 23:

Retro Mod
Paint Swatch
